The Guest House is two blocks from a major Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) station: Fullerton Station which serves the Red, Brown and Purple Line subway and elevated trains.
Ride share services are readily available near the Guest House.
This Fullerton CTA Station is 2 blocks from the Guest House, and 10 minutes to the LoopPARKING: We provide complimentary parking permits for nearby streets. Parking in front of the Guest House on Halsted is free (with no permit needed) except for these "no-parking" scenarios: the rare street-cleaning days (temporary signs will be posted) or heavy snow days.
TRANSPORTATION: The house is readily accessible from airports and expressways. A major CTA train station servicing Red, Purple and Brown line trains is two blocks away. The Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park and Loop are minutes away by these "el" (for "elevated") and subway lines that can take you from Wrigley Field to the White Sox’s ballpark in a single ride.
Three bus lines stop within one block of the Guest House: the Lincoln 11, Halsted 08 and Fullerton 74.
Arriving via O'Hare or Midway Airports, in order by price (low to high)The Guest House is 17 miles from O’Hare Airport and 13 miles from Midway Airport.

Arriving from Airports via PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Note: These directions were accurate when posted. Routes subject to change due to construction or other reconfigurations.
Travel from airport terminals via CTA trains is approximately 45 - 60 minutes. Purchase tickets from vending machines in the station. Attendants are available to assist you. Trains generally run 24 hours. Fare was US $5 at time of this posting; subject to change.
Board the Blue Line at O’Hare Airport. Exit at Lake Street station in the Loop. Two options: Walk through pedway to Red Line station and board Red Line train traveling NORTH. Or climb stairs to Clark/Lake elevated Station and board Brown Line train (which only travels in one direction). Both the Red Line and Brown Line stop at Fullerton Station. Exit Fullerton Station.
Board the Orange Line at Midway Airport. Exit at the State/Lake Station in the Loop and switch to the Brown Line (climb stairs to cross track to other side to board Brown Line train) or switch to the Red Line. Station attendants can direct you down stairs to the State Street subway station where you may board a Red Line train traveling NORTH toward Howard. Be sure NOT to board Red Line trains traveling SOUTH toward 95th Street.) Both the Brown Line and the Red Line trains are served by the Fullerton Station. Exit at Fullerton.
From the Fullerton CTA Station: Walk east two blocks to the six-way intersection of Fullerton Pkwy, Lincoln Ave and Halsted St. Turn right (south) on Halsted St; walk one-half block to the yellow and white Lincoln Park Guest House.
Arriving via AUTO:
From the Kennedy Expressway (I 90 / I 94):
Exit Fullerton Ave (Exit 47A) and travel east 1.7 miles to Halsted Street. Turn right (south) on Halsted; half-way down the block (0.1 mile) on left side of street.
From Lake Shore Drive (Route 41):
Exit Fullerton Parkway to travel west 3/4 mile to Halsted Street. Turn left (south) onto Halsted; half-way down the block (0.1 mile) on left side of street.
