Lincoln Park Guest House

The Guest House is two blocks from the major Fullerton CTA Station which serves the Red, Brown and Purple Line trains.

This Fullerton CTA Station is 2 blocks from the Guest House, and 10 minutes to the LoopPARKING: We provide complimentary parking permits for nearby streets. Parking in front of the Guest House on Halsted is free; no permit needed

TRANSPORTATION: The house is easily accessible from airports and expressways. A  major CTA train station servicing Red, Purple and Brown line trains is two blocks away. The Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park and Loop are minutes away by these "el" (for "elevated") and subway lines that can take you from Wrigley Field to the White Sox’s ballpark in a single ride. 

Three bus lines stop within one block of the Guest House: the Lincoln 11, Halsted 08 and Fullerton 74.

Arriving via AUTO:

From the Kennedy Expressway (I 90 / I 94): 
Exit Fullerton Ave (Exit 47A) and travel east 1.7 miles to Halsted Street. Turn right (south) on Halsted; half-way down the block (0.1 mile) on left side of street.

From Lake Shore Drive (Route 41): 
Exit Fullerton Parkway to travel west 3/4 mile to Halsted Street. Turn left (south) onto Halsted; half-way down the block (0.1 mile) on left side of street.

Arriving via Midway or O’Hare Airports, in order by price (low to high)The Guest House is 17 miles from O’Hare Airport and 13 miles from Midway Airport. 

$ - CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) trains run directly from both of Chicago’s airports and are an extension of the city’s convenient subway and elevated train system
$$ - Taxis are plentiful from O’Hare and Midway; travel time is 30 - 45 minutes

Arriving from Airports via PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

From Chicago’s Midway and O’Hare Airports: Travel from airport terminals via CTA trains is approximately 45 - 60 minutes. Purchase tickets from vending machines in the station. Trains generally run 24 hours. Fare is approximately US $2.25

Board the Orange Line at Midway. Exit at the State/Lake Station in the Loop and switch to the Red Line. Station attendants will readily direct you down stairs to the State Street subway station where you will board the Red Line traveling NORTH. Exit at Fullerton.

Board the Blue Line at O’Hare. Exit at the Jackson station in the Loop. Descend stairs to walk the underground passageway one block to the Red Line train. Board traveling NORTH. Exit at Fullerton.

From the Fullerton CTA Station: Walk east two blocks to the six-way intersection of Fullerton Pkwy, Lincoln Ave and Halsted St. Turn right (south) on Halsted St; go 1/2 block to the yellow and white Lincoln Park Guest House.
